Heidi K. Brandow

Heidi Brandow (Diné/Kanaka Māoli) is an interdisciplinary artist whose creative practice involves painting, printmaking and social engagement. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico and represented at Form and Concept Gallery, Heidi’s work is informed by her experience and ongoing relationship with her respective Indigenous communities.

Most recently Heidi was selected as the UCross Native American Fellow, a Ford Foundation - Santa Fe Art Institute Story Maps Fellow, a First People's Fund Fellow, and The Smithsonian, National Museum of the American Indian Social Engagement Fellow. Brandow's current graduate studies are primarily concerned with researching and developing sustainable and ethical approaches in which artists and arts institutions creatively engage with Indigenous and minority communities.
