Alejandra Rincon, MSW is a student affairs practitioner passionate about increasing educational equity, advancing racial and gender justice, dismantling systemic barriers, and creating psychologically safe and restorative institutions of higher education.

Born and raised in Hidalgo, Texas, a border town in South Texas, Alejandra grew up navigating multiple cultures, languages, and socioeconomic contexts which proved to be instrumental in developing the skills necessary to lead constructive dialogue between diverse groups.

Alejandra holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Portuguese from Princeton University with certificates in Latinx Studies, Latin American Studies, and Gender and Sexuality Studies. They also hold a Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in Administration and Community Practice from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley where they deepened their understanding of sociological frameworks impacting micro, mezzo, and macro aspects of society and learned trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches to care.

Alejandra entered the Harvard community in 2021 as a part of the Harvard College Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) team as the Equity & Diversity Program Coordinator for the Harvard Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations and then as the Assistant Director of the Harvard College Women’s Center.
