Blythe George Successfully Defends Her Doctoral Dissertation at Harvard Kennedy School

In December, Department of Sociology and Social Policy doctoral candidate, Blythe George (Yurok), became the first Native American to have her dissertation pass at the Harvard Kennedy School. The title of her dissertation was, Tribal Lands, Tribal Men and Tribal Responsibilities: World Renewal Fathers with Criminal Records and Their Perceptions of Work and Fatherhood On and Off-Reservation.
