25th Harvard Powwow Design Contest Rules & Guidelines

The Harvard Powwow Planning Committee would like to host a design contest for the 25^th Annual Harvard Powwow with the theme of “Protect Indigenous Futures!”

This contest is free to enter and open to the public.

We are looking for a design to be used on both T-shirts and Poster.

Award

$200 Prize Money
4 free powwow t-shirts designed by you!

Rules

All entries must be the designer’s original work. Plagiarism is not tolerated.
No AI Artwork.
Design must include “Harvard Powwow” and the year “2023”
6 Colors or less

Submission Guidelines

Make sure the artwork is on a transparent background.
Image resolution should be at least 300 DPI.
Ideally we would like vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) but we do accept bitmap (photo) files (PSD, JPEG, PNG,TIFF).
Please submit all files at the size you wish them to be printed.
Generally designs are between 10 and 12 inches wide and any height up to 14 inches. Left chest prints are approximately 3.75″ wide. We can print as large as 14 x 15 inches.

The winning design will be picked by the students on the Harvard Powwow Planning Committee and the winning artist will be notified via email from hunap@harvard.edu.
