25th Harvard Powwow Design Contest Rules & Guidelines
The Harvard Powwow Planning Committee would like to host a design contest for the 25th Annual Harvard Powwow with the theme of “Protect Indigenous Futures!”
This contest is free to enter and open to the public.
We are looking for a design to be used on both T-shirts and Poster.
Award
- $200 Prize Money
- 4 free powwow t-shirts designed by you!
Rules
- All entries must be the designer’s original work. Plagiarism is not tolerated.
- No AI Artwork.
- Design must include “Harvard Powwow” and the year “2023”
- 6 Colors or less
Submission Guidelines
- Make sure the artwork is on a transparent background.
- Image resolution should be at least 300 DPI.
- Ideally we would like vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) but we do accept bitmap (photo) files (PSD, JPEG, PNG,TIFF).
- Please submit all files at the size you wish them to be printed.
- Generally designs are between 10 and 12 inches wide and any height up to 14 inches. Left chest prints are approximately 3.75″ wide. We can print as large as 14 x 15 inches.

The winning design will be picked by the students on the Harvard Powwow Planning Committee and the winning artist will be notified via email from hunap@harvard.edu.
