Teresa Brockie, PhD, RN, FAAN, is an Indigenous nurse scientist and leader in Native American health research, affiliated with the A’aninin Nation from Fort Belknap, Montana. She specializes in community-driven strategies for preventing suicide, trauma, and adverse childhood experiences while promoting health equity with Tribal Nations. Dr. Brockie is an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and has held significant research roles, including PI on eleven major projects. She has received numerous accolades, including the ISPN Diversity and Equity Award (2024) and the Betty Irene Moore Fellowship (2023). Dr. Brockie also serves as the President of NANAINA.
