Join HMS Student Victor Lopez-Carmen as he works with a team of Indigenous voices to shed light on the vital roles their communities play in the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26). In this webinar by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Indigenous Peoples will share perspectives on how to pursue pathways for adaptation to climate change and effectively engage with development partners. The COP26 summit will bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Victor plays an active role as a youth leader in the International Indian Treaty Council (IITC) and is co-chair of the Global Indigenous Youth Caucus (GIYC).
