CAMBRIDGE, MA — The Harvard University Native American Program hosted a commencement dinner on May 30th to honor and recognize sixteen members of Harvard’s 2013 graduating class.  The event was attended by over sixty family members and friends of the graduates, many of whom were visiting Harvard for the first time.  Among the students recognized were four graduates from Harvard College, eight graduates from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, three graduates from the John F. Nation Building Working Group Convenes at Harvard University

CAMBRIDGE, MA — The Harvard University Native American Program in conjunction with the Harvard Project on American Indian Economic Development Honoring Nations Program held a one day symposium on May 9th highlighting the work universities, foundations, and professional organizations are doing in support of tribal Nation Building.  Supported by the Hauser Fund Grant Program through the Harvard Initiative on Learning and Teaching, participants and presenters formed a working group of university and professional programs.
