Native/Indigenous Studies Working Group

In our Working Group Wine Hour this Thursday we will compare and discuss two local virtual public history projects: Our" History: 400 Years of Wampanoag History" and "Listening to Wampanoag  Voices: Beyond 1620" by the exhibit Peabody Museum of Archeology and Ethnology at Harvard. We will give particular attention to the Peabody exhibit so take a little time, well, to listen to these voices and look at the pieces.

Special Guests: This just in! We will be joined by the two people at the Peabody who brought this exhibition together: Meredith and Diana will offer an overview of the project and discuss how it came together with Wampanoag communities and then we will have lots of time for discussion. They would welcome any questions or feedback we have about the exhibition. We look forward to a wonderful conversation with them.

Email Anthony Trujillo if you are interested in attending and a member of the HUNAP community.
